Phlebotomy School

The Lake Charles Memorial Hospital Phlebotomy Training Program is an 8-week program with a strong focus on practical experience. Most of the students’ time will be spent in the lab with patient subjects so the student develops real life experience and confidence in their phlebotomy skills.

Lake Charles Memorial Hospital has a reputation for quality instruction in many healthcare fields. We aim to assist students in the development of good judgment, effective interpersonal skills and technical skills, which will enable students to function competently as a phlebotomist. Once you have completed this program, you will have new and enhanced skills that will enable you to join the workforce as a highly competent and skilled phlebotomist.
