Why I chose LSUFM-LCMH: I chose LSUHSC Family Medicine at LCMH, because it is the best Family Medicine residency in the state of Louisiana! I was impressed with their unopposed training in a very busy hospital that sees tons of pathology. The inpatient medicine training is unmatched. I also liked how LCMH had its own pediatric inpatient service and high peds clinic numbers. I was able to do a 4 th year rotation and thoroughly enjoyed working with the residents and faculty. The faculty is diverse with each having a special interest or medical niche. I immediately felt like I would thrive and be happy here.
