Diet, genetics and lifestyle are all contributing factors to the rise of type 2 diabetes in the country. As more and more people are being diagnosed with the disease (and others often live with it without being diagnosed), learning the healthiest ways to manage – and in some cases even prevent – type 2 diabetes can be lifesaving.
To learn more about the steps you can take to keep your blood sugar in check, join Dr. Ronald Lewis, Jr., a board certified internist with the Internal Medicine Clinic, a part of the Memorial Medical Group.

He then went on to complete both his internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Prior to joining the staff of the Internal Medicine Clinic, Dr. Lewis saw patients at the Lake Charles Medical and Surgical Clinic.
