Alfred Cardet, Brett Cascio, Nathan Cohen, Scott Hofer, Dennis Walker and Lawrence Weber, and physiatrist Dr. Michael Lane, on the staff of Orthopaedic Specialists.

Memorial Hospital Thanks Employees for New Cafeteria

In 2010 The Foundation at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital launched the I Gave a Day program – a means for employees to donate some of their paid time off hours or monetary amounts in order to help the hospital renovate its cafeteria, Café Bon Vie. The
program was a huge first time success, and employees who chose to give to the
cause were able to raise $107,000 in funds toward the $1 million reconstruction
and renovation of the new Café Bon Vie, which was completed early this year.

Lake Charles Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, which includes more than 63
volunteers, has made a $100,000 donation to Memorial Hospital. The Auxiliary officers presented
the check to Larry Graham, President and CEO of the hospital, during the Annual
Volunteer Recognition Luncheon.
