Memorial Hospital Receives Advertising Awards
Lake Charles Memorial Hospital Marketing Department recently won four awards for advertising, including the coveted Best of Show and three Gold ADDY® Awards at the American Advertising Federation of Lake Charles’ annual awards banquet held recently.
The ADDY Awards are the world's largest and arguably toughest advertising competition. The ADDY Awards represent the true spirit of creative excellence by recognizing all forms of advertising from media of all types. The American Advertising Federation, a not-for-profit industry association conducts the ADDY Awards through its 200 member advertising clubs and 15 districts. It is the only creative awards program administered by the advertising industry for the industry.
Gold, silver and bronze ADDY Awards and are presented for outstanding work in advertising, public relations, copywriting and graphic design. Winners at the local level are entered into the district-wide competition, and winners at the district level move on to the national ADDY Awards.

- A Gold ADDY for Lean on Us, television campaign
- A Gold ADDY for We Are Sports Medicine, television spot
- A Gold ADDY for Kids Don’t Come With Instructions, television campaign
