Memorial Hospital Honors Auxiliary Volunteers
Members of the Volunteer Auxiliary at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital were recently honored for their hours of dedicated service to the hospital at the annual Auxiliary Luncheon. The volunteers were given pins and other gifts in recognition of their completed service hours at Memorial.
The recipients of awards at the luncheon were: Laveta Norris with over 12,000 hours of service; Jeanne Hartman with over 6,000 hours; Virginia Turner with over 5,000 hours; Lurline Carter with over 4,000 hours; Bridget Barnes, Jo Ann Beam and Della Johnson with over 2,000 hours each; Anita Morgan and June Key with over 1,000 hours each; Anita Gold, Richard Ott and Mary Sue Shelton with over 500 hours each; Cornell Chaumont, Rolando Gugol, Suzette Gugol, Irwin Gugol and Debbie Ott with over 100 hours each; and Susan Wood with over 50 hours.
Memorial’s new Auxiliary officers were also named at the ceremony. These members were:

Virginia Turner – President Elect
Bobbie Jefferson – Past President
Della Johnson – Corresponding Secretary
Myron Brown – Recording Secretary
Dorothy Bryant – Treasurer
Richard Ott, Anita Gold, Tessie Boulet and Lillian Salvador – Three-year Board members
Sally Picheloup and Celena Perry – One-year Board members
