The Southwest Louisiana Hospital Association, which operates as Lake Charles Memorial Health System, is pleased to announce its Board of Trustees for fiscal year 2013. As the only locally governed community hospital in Lake Charles, Memorial relies on community leaders in finance, media, public policy and business to volunteer their time and talents.

“These healthcare advocates fulfill their fiduciary roles by sitting on compliance, audit, finance and compensation committees,” said Larry Graham, Memorial’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “These committees are subject to external reviews by accounting firms, as well as audits by state and federal agencies and bodies like The Joint Commission that review the actual delivery of patient care.”
