Portions Times Two

When they eat, many Americans consume nearly twice the recommended portion size, say nutrition experts at Baylor College of Medicine. By cutting portions in half, you can eliminate calories without feeling deprived. For instance, you can trim more than 200 calories by eating one taco instead of two. And you can cut 100 calories by halving a bagel.
