Preschoolers Eating More
Preschoolers are eating plenty of nutritious foods these days, but researchers are concerned about the emphasis on "plenty," according to a study in a 2004 issue of the American Journal of Public Health. Over the last 30 years, daily food intake among preschoolers has increased by 200 calories. This increase has contributed to the trend toward obesity in children, the researchers say.
