Visiting an ER with Your Child Podcast

Some emergencies are obvious: trauma with broken bones, loss of consciousness, a lot of bleeding or injuries in sensitive areas; and children with chronic medical conditions may also have special considerations that constitute an emergency. But how do you know when to take an otherwise healthy child to the emergency room? Dr. Robert Anderson, a board certified emergency medicine physician on staff at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital, discusses five general guidelines to visiting an emergency room with your child.
