Memorial's Hospital for Women is dedicated to meeting the unique healthcare needs of all women. Our 14-bed women's Specialty Unit provides the diagnostic and surgical care women may need at every stage of their life.

Gynecologic, cosmetic and general surgeries can be performed in our state-of-the-art surgery suites. Many procedures can be performed using minimally invasive laparoscopic techniques, shortening hospital stays and recovery time. Our Specialty Unit is staffed with nurses, technicians and nursing assistants who have extensive experience in caring for women with medical and surgical needs, particularly in the area of gynecology.

With a focus on the health issues distinctive to women, our 14-bed Women's Specialty Unit is dedicated to provide the most reliable, compassionate medical care.
Our staff of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, certified nursing assistants and unit technicians collaborate with each patient and physician to promote health education and health services for women across their lifespan - from adolescence to senescence - particularly gynecological, surgical/ medical and obstetrical antepartum.
