Obstetric services at LCMH for Women brings complete obstetrical care to our patients. Our broad range of programs and expertise help women prepare for pregnancy, then guide them through both routine or high risk pregnancies to the birth of the baby. Special attention is given to meeting the family's expectations of the birthing process.

At LCMH for Women, we believe it is important for women to have choices and to be in control of their pregnancy and birth experiences, which is why we provide family-centered maternity care.
During delivery, the comfort and well-being of the mother and baby are our first priority. Close attention is paid to each patient’s personal preferences while her physician and the experienced labor and delivery nurses keep a close watch on her medical needs.
The Family Birth Center offers 24 labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum suites that are specially
designed to accommodate women throughout the delivery process. The center is staffed with
registered nurses skilled in both high-risk and normal deliveries, and includes three surgical suites
for cesarean deliveries.
