The 2 North Rehab Unit is a 23-bed unit.  The primary focus is to provide rehabilitative nursing to an adult/pediatric patient population that has been transferred from the acute care setting.  The nursing care on this rehab unit is part of a rehabilitative continuum of care on a 24-hour basis, with a multi-disciplinary approach toward each patient’s goals and outcomes.

The Rehab Nursing Unit has a RN/LPN/NA/Unit Tech skill mix.  The Rehab nursing unit is expected to demonstrate skill and knowledge in planning, implementing and evaluating care for the Rehab patient population.  Certification in Rehab nursing is encouraged.
