The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) is an 8-bed unit providing all surgical patients with an acute recovery area.  The unit is staffed by RNs and is under the direct supervision of the Director of Surgical Services.  The scope is to provide all patients with safe, efficient and compassionate care, utilizing the highest professional standards of care and resources at our disposal.
