The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) consists of five beds.  The primary focus of the PICU is to provide critical nursing care guided by cardiac, invasive and non-invasive hemodynamic monitoring and acute nursing assessment skill to the pediatric patient in crisis or with high level care and observation requirements.

The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit is an all-RN staff.  They are required to have current ACLS/PALS and completion of CCU/PICU orientation.
