Each year the Cancer Center sponsors Camp Bluebird, a 3-day camping trip for adult cancer patients.The purpose of the camp is to provide patients with emotional and educational support outlets, as well as some creative and relaxing opportunities in a beautifully wooded camp.
The camp staff members are part of the Cancer Center team, and include physicians, nurses, a social worker, a dietitian, an exercise instructor, pastoral care associates and volunteers.
Any adult, 18 years or older, who has been diagnosed with cancer is invited to attend.
