That level of care is found at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital's Pediatric Intensive Care Unit for infants and children through age 18.

This 5-bed unit is located within the Pediatric Unit on the 6th floor of the hospital. As the only pediatric ICU unit in the five parish region of Southwest Louisiana, we provide a broad spectrum of care including the treatment of chronic illnesses as well as trauma patients.

Lake Charles Memorial Hospital's Pediatric ICU promotes family-centered care in a nurturing atmosphere.

Transportation services, including both ground and air, are available. A Critical Care Transport Team is available 24 hours a day.
