New Hire Orientation
At Memorial Hospital, we understand that the professionalism and drive of our people are the most important factors in the quality of the service we provide.

During each orientation, we train our new employees to recognize who our customers are, how important our customers are, and how quality service can impact our customers' visits. We also train our new employees to recognize what it takes to be a world-class organization.

The goals of our Service Excellence Workshops are:

  • To understand the need for providing quality service in everything we do.
  • To develop an action plan and Service Excellence commitment statement designed to deliver world-class service.

Service Excellence differentiates us and allows us to become, not only the employer of choice thus attracting the best talent to our facilities, but also the hospital of choice attracting patients because of our level of care.

Got Smile?
Got Smile? Is an opportunity to recognize our employees with a winning attitude. By winning attitude, we mean those positive behaviors that can be seen and heard by our physicians, our patients and other employees.

Memorial is launching the campaign by presenting Got Smile? buttons to members of the management team. In turn, managers will issue the buttons as tokens of appreciation to employees who demonstrate a winning smile and the Service Excellence attitude.
