Heart & Vascular Center’s office hours are Monday through Thursday, 7am to 5pm and 7am to Noon on Fridays. We do not close for lunch. A cardiologist and cardiovascular surgeon are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days per week and on holidays. To reach the appointment desk or an after-hours operator, call 337-49HEART (494-3278).
  2. How can I see a Heart & Vascular Center physician?
Patients are seen by appointment only. A physician referral is not necessary to see a physician unless it is required by your insurance company. Outpatient diagnostic testing does require physician referral. Please arrive on time for your appointment and we ask that you give at least 24 hours notice should you need to cancel an appointment.
  3. How can I have a prescription refilled?
Please request by notifying our office at least three business days before you need your refill if you get your medication locally. If you require a prescription for mail-in purposes, please contact us at least two weeks in advance of your needs.
  4. Where do I park?
Parking is available on the second level of Lake Charles Memorial Hospital’s parking garage, which is located on the corner of Oak Park Blvd. and Second Avenue, adjacent to our office. Please have the card stamped before leaving the Heart & Vascular Center in order to receive free parking privileges. Or if you wish, you may take advantage of the free valet parking offered at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital's main entrance.
