An orthopedist with Memorial Hospital, Scott Hofer, DO, joins Orthopaedic Specialists with Drs. Nathan Cohen and Dennis Walker.
A Lakewood, Colorado native and graduate of Arizona State University and the Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California, Dr. Hofer completed his internship at Tulane University Medical Center and orthopedic residency at William Beaumont Army Medical Center/Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso, Texas.
Among the first 500 orthopedists nationwide to receive a subspecialty certification in Sports Medicine through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Hofer is recognized for completing the specified education, evaluation, and examination requirements of the Board in the care of injuries related to athletic activities.
Prior to moving to Lake Charles, Dr. Hofer was practicing Sports Medicine and General Orthopedics in Grants Pass, Oregon.
