A native of Chicago, Illinois and graduate of Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Dr. McKinney is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine and completed her residency at Chicago’s Cook County Hospital. Prior to moving to Lake Charles, Dr. McKinney was on the staff of Martin General Hospital in Williamston, North Carolina. She most recently saw patients at Southwest Louisiana Center for Health Services.
