Before moving to Lake Charles, Dr. Bergen served 14 years as a U.S. Army
doctor at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso and Brooke Army
Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston, achieving the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
He also served in Operation New Dawn in the 86th Combat Support Hospital
at Sather Air Base, Baghdad, Iraq.
