Vaccines are normally associated with babies and toddlers who are just
starting out in life. However, adults and seniors need to stay up on their
vaccines, too! Not just for themselves, but to protect those around them
too! This can mean booster shots for existing vaccines, like tetanus or
pertussis, or it can mean Titer testing to ensure immunity to certain
illnesses still exists! To learn more about vaccines, booster shots and
Titer testing, join us for a free seminar led by Sabah Ahmed, MD.
Dr. Ahmed is initially from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She attended
Simon Fraser University, where she received her undergraduate degree with
honors in Health Sciences. She then attended medical school at the Medical
University of the Americas. Dr. Ahmed has a strong interest in primary
care, and preventative care. She is currently a Family Medicine Resident
at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital.
Adult Vaccination Information Station is a free seminar being held Friday,
