Dr. Winterton is a board-certified cardiologist with Heart & Vascular Center. In addition to general cardiology, Dr. Winterton is also an expert in cardiac rehabilitation, peripheral vascular and cardiovascular diseases. Born in New Orleans, Dr. Winterton graduated from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana. He then completed medical school, his internship, residency and fellowship at LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans. In addition to his work with Heart & Vascular Center, Dr. Winterton is on staff at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital and West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital.
