Generous Donations to Our Employee Assistance Fund

Over the past couple of months, The Foundation at Lake Charles Memorial has received some very generous donations to our Employee Assistance Fund in response to hurricane’s Laura and Delta.

• Blue Cross Blue Shield President, Michael Tipton (right) presents $100,000 check on behalf of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana Foundation to the Memorial Foundation’s Employee Assistance Fund to Senior Vice President of Philanthropy, Leif Pedersen (left).
• In response to that, the Memorial Board of Directors voted to match the donation. Mitch Adrian, Chair of the Memorial Health System Board, presents a check for $100,000 to Memorial Foundation Chair, Jackie Roe, as a matching gift for the Foundation’s Employee Assistance Fund.
• Entergy donated $5,000 to The Foundation to sponsor the online virtual auction the Foundation held to also benefit the Employee Assistance Fund.
• Shana Neal, EVP/Chief Human Resource Officer, Owens & Minor (left) and Tamar Thornton, Community Engagement Leader, Owens & Minor (right) present a $100,000 check to The Foundation for the Employee Assistance Fund.
