ISSUE: Failure to provide health care service.

INTENT: To notify LCMH that there is a gap in their healthcare process particular to emergency services.

REQUEST: To have the appropriate person contact me to discuss details of my experience. Should there be no followup to my request I intend to notify personnel I deem appropriate.

INCIDENT SUMMARY: On Tuesday, Jan 17 around 12:00pm I was brought to the emergency room at LCMH by ambulance after the car I was driving was rear-ended. I spent 3 hours in a neck brace in pain waiting for someone to address my symptoms. I did not receive any medical services, nor did anyone speak to me concerning my status. I have never experienced such inefficient and total lack of healthcare.
