Say Thank You

2 Years In…

The first COVID-19 patient was admitted to Lake Charles Memorial on March 17, 2020. Since then, our healthcare community has certainly endured tremendous trials throughout the pandemic.

The employees of Lake Charles Memorial Health System are true heroes. We want to give you the opportunity to say “thank you” and honor their outstanding service, sacrifice, and life giving contributions to SWLA.

Share your message of thanks below.

  • I wanted to nominate the nurses and staff of the 2nd Floor for Room 249 at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital where my father, Otto, has been an in-patient undergoing Rehab and PT. The sanitation staff is excellent and the nurses are amazing and highly intentional with a great sense of urgency in the level of care they provide with warm and caring customer service. Nurses Chrystal, Jenell, and Kate, and also Ms. Jackson in Housekeeping for her big smile and attention to detail. Also, we were especially thankful for Ben, the RN Extern, who graciously helped set up the LCMH WiFi connection for my father's laptop computer after we were unsuccessful in being able to connect. Thank you!

  • A year ago this month I spent in ICU with Covid. The staff there quite literally saved my life. Dr. Courville and his staff and ICU nurses Bill, Justin, Gage, Jenny, Lisa and more who's names I can't remember. The technicians and therapists. I think about y'all everyday. Thank you all so much for saving my life. David John Latham
