As southwest Louisiana’s most comprehensive treatment facility, the Cancer Center at Memorial Hospital combines a full range of progressive diagnostic and treatment plans with the compassionate, emotional support of an experienced team.

Fully accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (CoC), Memorial’s cancer treatment program has held CoC accreditation continuously since 1993.  The hospital recently received an additional three-year approval rating with seven commendations based on its compliance with the 36 CoC standards.  This special accreditation is given only to facilities that voluntarily commit to providing excellence in diagnostics and treatment of cancer, and that undergo a rigorous on-site evaluation process to review their performance.
