Lake Charles Memorial is proud to serve as the official healthcare partner for McNeese State University Athletics – an investment in both student-athletes and the broader SWLA community. As the official sports medicine partner for the Cowboys, our partnerships include advanced healthcare access for student-athletes and powering the sports medicine program.
This historic partnership includes a $2.5 million commitment over three years, one of the largest investments in McNeese Athletics to date. Through Memorial's Sports Medicine team of athletic trainers and physicians, McNeese athletes receive comprehensive care both on and off the field – reflecting our shared dedication to health, performance, and safety.
Memorial employs and provides McNeese athletic trainers for all student athletics as part of the partnership structure.
"The care and professionalism that our student athletes will receive because this partnership will be second to none. The health and wellbeing of our student-athletes have been my number one objective since becoming AD a few years ago, and this partnership solidifies that objective. I couldn't be prouder to partner with this amazing healthcare system." - Health Schroyer
