Hospitalist Benjamin Azevedo, MD joins Memorial Medical Group

Memorial Medical Group welcomes Benjamin Azevedo, MD, a board-certified internal medicine physician to its staff. Dr. Azevedo serves as a hospitalist, treating and caring for patients admitted to Lake Charles Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Azevedo received his degree in integrative biology from the University of California, Berkeley. He holds a masters of public health from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Dr. Azevedo achieved his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine. His post-graduate training includes an internship and residency in internal medicine from Scripps Green Hospital in La Jolla, California.
Dr. Azevedo is a member of the American College of Physicians and American Medical Association. He has a wife and two sons and the family of four looks forward to planting roots in Lake Charles.
