Archer Institute - The Archer Institute through LCMHS offers a modern 42-bed behavioral health
hospital for
adolescents and adults experiencing mental health issues. This inpatient facility opened amid the growing demand for more comprehensive
mental health and substance abuse treatment in our community. The 32,000
sq. ft. facility has separate and dedicated adult and adolescent treatment
units, ensuring age-appropriate care and environments throughout the patient stay
Lake Charles Memorial Hospital - The dedicated
Geropsychiatric Unit at LCMH is committed to the treatment of adults, 55
years old and older experiencing a mental health crisis. The program provides short-term intensive treatment for psychiatric disorders,
cognitive impairment, and age-related physiological disabilities. The
treatment philosophy is crisis stabilization and comprehensive discharge
planning to a less restrictive level of care.
Moss Memorial Health Clinic - The Intensive Outpatient Program through LCMHS offers a unique approach to
outpatient therapy for older adults to help prevent psychiatric decline,
avoid inpatient hospitalization, and reduce symptom re-occurrence. The services offered include diagnostic evaluation, medication evaluations
- management - monitoring, group therapy, family, and individual therapy.
Patients receive scheduled programming 3-5 times per week with transportation
provided as needed.
