I applied for a position. What happens next?
Your application will be reviewed by the recruitment team. If your qualifications meet the requirements of the position, your application will be forwarded to the hiring manager for further review.
How do I know if my application was successfully submitted?
You should receive a confirmation email after your application has been successfully submitted. This serves as confirmation that your application was received for review.
Who will contact me if I am selected for an interview?
If you are selected for an interview, a member of the hiring team will contact you with additional information and next steps.
How long does it take to hear back after applying?
This varies depending on the position, number of applications and the department. Candidates selected to move forward will be contacted regarding next steps.
Will I be contacted if I am not selected for a position?
Candidates will receive an email notification if the position is filled and they are not selected.
Am I eligible for rehire?
Rehire eligibility is based on your previous employment with LCMHS and will be reviewed during the application process.
Am I eligible for a transfer?
Transfer eligibility is based on our internal transfer requirements. Please review the transfer policy (page 16 in the employee handbook) for eligibility guidelines.
Offer & Onboarding
I accepted the job offer. What happens next?
After accepting your offer, you will receive instructions regarding pre-employment and onboarding steps. Please complete all requested items as soon as possible to prevent any delays in the onboarding process.
Who should I contact if I have questions during the onboarding process?
Please contact the Employment Specialist using the contact information provided at the bottom of the Welcome email sent to you once your processing date has been scheduled.How long will it take to be cleared to start work?
Clearance varies and depends on completion of all required pre-employment items, such as background check, occupational health requirement, etc.
When is my start date confirmed?
Start date is dependent upon successful completion of all pre-employment requirements. The Employment Specialist will provide you with a confirmed start date as well as orientation date once all applicable requirements have been met.
