Memorial Health System Updates Visitation Guidelines Effective Monday, August 24

Lake Charles Memorial Health System realizes families and visitors play an important role in the health of our patients. That is why starting Monday, August 24 Memorial will allow one visitor per patient per hospital stay in most areas. Specific visitation guidelines have been developed based on the areas/services that patients may be accessing. These updated visitation guidelines have been developed to support our patients and families while maintaining the safety of our staff, patients and visitors.

All visitors to any location are expected to:

• Sign a consent form.
• Wear a mask/face covering at all times while in LCMH facilities including patient rooms and exam rooms.
• Not enter the facilities if they have had known exposure to or diagnosis of COVID-19 in the previous 10 days.
• Have NO signs/symptoms potentially indicating COVID 19 illness
• Maintain at least 6 feet distance from others while in waiting rooms, otherwise remain outside the facilities.
• Not move freely throughout the facilities.
