Lake Charles Memorial Hospital Named on the "Great Community Hospitals" List by Becker’s Healthcare

Becker's Hospital Review names Lake Charles Memorial Health System in the 2025 edition of its “100 Great Community Hospitals” list, a national recognition that highlights excellence in care, community impact, and access.

According to American Hospital Association there are currently 5,112 community hospitals across the country. Earning a spot on Becker’s list places Lake Charles Memorial in the top 2% nationwide.

Becker’s editorial team selected the 100 hospitals based on publicly available rankings, safety grades, and quality measures. The list also includes hospitals nominated for their service to rural or underserved populations and their efforts to expand care in meaningful ways. Becker's also accepted nominations for this list.
