Lake Charles Memorial Hospital Launches “Mission Move Well” with Arjo MOVE Program to Advance Patient and Staff Safety

Lake Charles Memorial Hospital proudly announces the official launch of its Arjo MOVE program, embraced by employees and staff as “Mission Move Well: Where Every Move is Part of the Mission,” beginning June 16, 2025. This initiative demonstrates the hospital’s commitment to achieving its mission of zero injuries for both patients and caregivers.

The Arjo MOVE (Mobility Outcome Value Engagement) program is a proven, evidence-based strategy designed to promote safer mobility practices within healthcare settings. MOVE empowers clinical teams with the tools, training, and support to assess patient mobility and match it with appropriate equipment and techniques. By improving mobility practices, hospitals see fewer staff injuries, enhanced patient outcomes, and more efficient care delivery.
