Andrew Bearb, MD Joins Lake Charles Memorial Health System

Lake Charles Memorial Health System is pleased to welcome Andrew Bearb, MD, a family medicine physician, to its growing team of providers. Dr. Bearb will offer patients comprehensive primary care tailored to each patient’s unique needs.

A native of Southwest Louisiana, Dr. Bearb earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, where he completed the Rural Scholars Track, preparing him to address the unique healthcare needs of rural and underserved communities. He went on to complete his family medicine residency at LSU Family Medicine in Lake Charles, where he served patients across the region. His undergraduate education took place at McNeese State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology.

Before becoming a physician, Dr. Bearb worked as a registered nurse in medical-surgical and orthopedic-neurosurgery units, gaining valuable bedside experience that shapes his compassionate, patient-first approach today. He has also volunteered extensively, including working with community organizations.
