Ryan Killebrew, MD Joins Lake Charles Memorial Health System

Lake Charles Memorial Health System is pleased to welcome Ryan Killebrew, MD, a pediatric intensivist, to its medical staff.

Dr. Killebrew earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He completed his pediatric residency at Baylor College of Medicine–San Antonio in 2023 before pursuing fellowship training in pediatric critical care at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and the University of Texas Health Science Center.

Board certified in general pediatrics, Dr. Killebrew specializes in caring for infants, children and adolescents with serious illnesses and complex medical needs. He will care for hospitalized children in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital – the only Level II Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in Southwest Louisiana.

As part of Memorial’s PICU care team, Dr. Killebrew will care for children experiencing conditions such as severe asthma, complications from diabetes, severe infections, heart abnormalities and injuries. He will work alongside specially trained nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care for critically ill children and support their families throughout their hospital stay.

Dr. Killebrew looks forward to caring for children and their families throughout Southwest Louisiana.
