Muhammad Atif Jadoon, MD Earns Board Certification in Diabetology

Lake Charles Memorial Health System is proud to announce that Muhammad Atif Jadoon, MD, internal medicine physician, has earned board certification in Diabetology through the American College of Diabetology.

Dr. Jadoon is the only physician in Southwest Louisiana to hold this advanced certification. Which reflects specialized expertise in the prevention, diagnosis and management of diabetes and its related conditions.

As a board-certified internal medicine physician, Dr. Jadoon has long cared for patients managing diabetes as part of their overall health. With this additional certification in Diabetology, he now offers an even deeper level of focused expertise, supporting patients through every stage of diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management.

Dr. Jadoon utilizes today’s most advanced diabetes‑management treatments, including continuous glucose monitors (CGMs), insulin pumps, and medication management. He and his team are highly qualified to educate patients on these tools, while also helping them build sustainable daily habits that support better health. Their goal is to empower patients to feel more confident, informed, and in control of their diabetes management.
