No one likes dealing with wounds, but for many people, particularly those who suffer from diabetes, getting a stubborn, painful wound to heal can take a great deal of time and effort. To learn more about wound care and treatment options for those with diabetes, including innovative hyperbaric oxygen therapy treatments, join Dr. Gerald Mouton with the Lake Charles Memorial Wound Care, for A Tough Wound to Heal, a free seminar.

Dr. Mouton, a board certified family medicine physician who specializes in wound care, will offer the latest information available on what makes up the most successful care regimens for diabetic wound healing.

A Tough Wound to Heal will be held Friday, October 27 at 12 noon in the Shearman Conference Room at Memorial Hospital on Oak Park Boulevard. A light lunch will be served, and reservations are required at least 24 hours in advance.
