Free Seminar: The Shape of your Heart

About This Event

  • Event Type:Seminar
Details:

If you have symptoms of heart disease, such as chest pain, shortness of breath, an irregular heartbeat, or heavy heartbeats, a stress test may be what you need. It's a simple test that helps your doctor find out how well your heart handles its workload. Find out who needs them and the various types of stress testing available today.

To learn more about the inner workings of a heart stress test and what the results tell you, join Christopher Thompson, MD, a board certified and fellowship-trained cardiologist with Memorial Medical Group, for The Shape of Your Heart, a free seminar.

After graduating from LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans, Dr. Thompson completed his internship at Charity Hospital in New Orleans, his residency at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, and his cardiology fellowship at the University of Florida Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL. In addition to general cardiology, his areas of expertise include cardiac catheterization, cardiac rehabilitation and interventional cardiology.

The Shape of Your Heart will be held Friday, February 23 at 12 noon in the Shearman Conference Room at Memorial Hospital on Oak Park Boulevard. A light lunch will be served, and reservations are required at least 24 hours in advance.
