Each year thousands of Americans are diagnosed with colorectal cancer and, sadly, it will take the lives of 50,000 people this year alone. Over the years experts have seen an increase of early onset colorectal cancer, and as a result, the American Cancer Society has lowered the recommended age for colonoscopies—the best tool to prevent colorectal cancer. Because some people never notice any symptoms, it’s important to learn more about your risks and how to prevent colon cancer.
