Live & On Call: Colorectal Cancer Early Detection

About This Event

  • Event Type:Virtual Event
Details:

portrait of Dr. Frank MarreroEach year thousands of Americans are diagnosed with colorectal cancer and, sadly, it will take the lives of 50,000 people this year alone. Over the years experts have seen an increase of early onset colorectal cancer, and as a result, the American Cancer Society has lowered the recommended age for colonoscopies—the best tool to prevent colorectal cancer. Because some people never notice any symptoms, it’s important to learn more about your risks and how to prevent colon cancer.

Join us for a discussion with Frank Marrero, MD, a board-certified gastroenterologist with Memorial Medical Group. He will be live and on call to answer any questions you may have about colonoscopies and colorectal cancer prevention on Wednesday March 16, at 1pm on the Lake Charles Memorial Health System Facebook Page.
