Dr. Lewis is a board-certified internist at Memorial Internal Medicine on Oak Park Boulevard. A primary care physician is often the first medical professional you see when you're sick. They are specifically trained to act as personal doctors, providing long-term, comprehensive care. Internists see adult patients diagnosing and treating a variety of issues – from cold and flu to managing chronic diseases, like hypertension and diabetes. Primary care physicians, like Dr. Lewis, are also the access point to specialty care, like cardiology, orthopedics, and surgical services.

Dr. Lewis is a graduate of the University of Mississippi earning a bachelor’s degree in pharmacology. He then began his medical training earning a medical degree at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson, Mississippi. Dr. Lewis continued with his post-graduate medical training with a residency and internship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi.
