Lake Charles Memorial Health System offers many lab and draw station locations so that patients can address all their medical needs in the quickest and most convenient way possible.
Our lab and draw station locations offer a full spectrum of anatomic and clinical pathology, using the most advanced medical technology. Fully accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) and the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) Memorial Lab Draw Station services include pathology services from a simple blood draw to transfusion medicine and hematology.
Services include, but are not limited to, anatomic pathology, body fluid analysis, cytology, mycobacteriology, transfusion medicine, bacteriology, chemistry, hematology, mycology, blood gases, coagulation, immunology, special chemistry, and urinalysis.
The lab draw station at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital at 2770 3rd Ave and is most conveniently located through Medical Office Building II (MOB II). The draw station is located on the first floor of MOB II. Patients can enter through the main doors of MOB II and travel directly to the left. Parking for MOB II is located on the northside of the hospital, and can be accessed from 3rd Ave., 18th St., or 2nd Ave.
Patients accessing the draw station from MOB I can follow the directional signs of the hospital to MOB II and travel through the MOB II waiting area.
Also located in MOB II is the Medical Plaza Pharmacy, offering patients the opportunity to see a physician, fill prescriptions and have lab tests conducted – all in one convenient location.
