Located in Medical Office Building II (MOB) of Lake Charles Memorial Hospital, Memorial Surgery and Trauma offers the total spectrum of surgical services, including both minimally invasive outpatient and more acute inpatient procedures and surgeries in southwest Louisiana.  

Our highly trained surgeons and staff provide our patients with the most sophisticated surgical treatments, with safety as their top priority. LCMHS offers most surgical procedures, including but not limited to robotic-assisted surgery, minimally invasive surgery, same-day surgery and inpatient surgery.  

Dr. Doumite brings specialized skills in advanced laparoscopic surgery and minimally invasive procedures and robotic surgery using the da Vinci surgical sytem, allowing his patients to recover with less pain and quicker return to activity and work. Dr. Doumite specialty focuses on complex hernia repair, gastric and colorectal cancer, gallbladder disease, thyroid, and parathyroid disease and transanal minimally invasive surgery for colorectal cancer.  

Dr. Ellington is a board-certified surgery with a special focus on breast cancer and surgical breast disease. As Director of the High-Risk Breast Clinic at Memorial, she has helped hundreds of women with elevated breast cancer risk and those diagnosed with breast cancer, through their health journey and to a successful outcome. 

The General and Trauma Surgery office is at 2770 3rd Ave. The office is within Lake Charles Memorial Hospital and can be accessed through MOB II. The office is located on the first floor of MOB II in Suite 120. Patients can enter through the main doors of MOB and travel to the office door on the right, between the elevators and MOB II waiting room. Parking for MOB II is located on the northside of the hospital, and can be accessed from 3rd Ave., 18th St., or 2nd Ave. 

Also located in MOB II is the Medical Plaza Pharmacy and the Lake Charles Memorial Draw Station, offering patients the opportunity to see a physician, fill prescriptions and have lab tests conducted – all in one convenient location.
