COVID-19 Testing Center Operational at Memorial Hospital

A no-cost COVID-19 testing center is available again for the public in the emergency room parking lot at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital. It is located at the corner of 18th Street and 2nd Avenue. The testing center is open seven days a week 8am to 4pm for free PCR testing with results in approximately 48 hours.
The testing center is a partnership between Memorial and the Region 5 Office of Public Health. This is a testing center only. People in need of medical care are asked to go to their closest ER, urgent care or contact their doctor’s office.
