COVID-19 Testing Center Operational at Memorial Hospital

A no-cost COVID-19 testing center is now available for the public in the emergency room parking lot at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital. It is located at the corner of 18th Street and 2nd Avenue. The testing center is open seven days a week 9am to 5pm.

The testing center is a partnership between Memorial, the Office of Public Health and the Louisiana National Guard. This is a testing center only. People in need of medical care are asked to go to their closest ER, urgent care or contact their doctor’s office.

Those wishing to get a COVID-19 vaccine can come to the Memorial Hospital atrium Monday through Friday for the no-cost Pfizer vaccine approved for ages 12 and up. No appointment is necessary. You are asked to bring your health insurance card, and remember to bring your vaccine card if you are coming for you 2nd dose. Go to www.lcmh.com/covid19 for the latest information.
