Most importantly surviving intern year and the cultural changes from a
big city like NYC to the south, it's been a blessing.

What was the most surprising thing/biggest revelation/proudest moment/can’t
believe you did it thing about your Intern year?: Assisted with over 60 deliveries, over 60 endoscopies, intubated over
20 patients, and made a lot of friends. Had a baby, evacuated, came back,
evacuated again, came back again, froze, flooded and survived.

for our patients and coordinating transport to other facilities.

and the ER doctor and the Hospitalist that were present were more excited
that I got it than I was in the moment.

believe you did it thing about your Intern year?: Survived 2 major hurricanes – Laura & Delta, the COVID-19 pandemic,
and an ice storm!

What was the most surprising thing/biggest revelation/proudest moment/can’t
believe you did it thing about your Intern year?: My “realist” moment of my intern year had to be doing a paracentesis
in the ED. It definitely was a surreal moment while performing and having
the confidence in doing it. Some of my best moments have been the amount
of time I’ve been able to spend focusing on Sports Medicine, doing
injections and working with the high school sports teams.
